Abortion is murder of the grossest kind. It is the shedding of innocent blood which God hates (Proverbs 6:16-17). The blood of these unborn children cries out for justice as did the blood of righteous Abel who was murdered by his brother. God said to Cain, “What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground” (Genesis 4:10). A God of justice will recompense!
Everyone involved in or supporting the sin of abortion is guilty of the sin of murder, including the following:
· The mother who submits herself to the abortion
· The father who supports her in having the abortion
· Other friends and family members who support the decision
· The doctor who aborts the baby
· Other members of staff involved in the abortion industry
· Governments who legislate the practise of abortion
God finds them guilty of murder of the lowest kind because these unborn children are innocent and defenceless, in the womb. Their life is violently taken away from them in a gruesome manner before they even get a chance to experience life.
The most natural thing in the world is for a woman to cherish the life that it is inside of her. It is wicked, selfish, and blind for that woman (or anyone else) to seek any harm against that life that belongs to her. It is sin before Almighty God, the giver of all life—make no mistake about it!
God says clearly, “thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13), yet there are 40-50 million abortions (murders) each year worldwide, despite what God says. God will hold everyone including governments accountable for their part in the murder of the unborn (1 Peter 4:5).
Under the Old Testament law, if two men fought and a pregnant woman got injured, and the baby died, the man responsible was put to death, because God said, “thou shalt give life for life” (Exodus 21:22-25). This shows that God equated the death of that baby in the womb to the death of a fully-grown man. If God held that man responsible, who did not deliberately intend to kill the child, how much more will He not hold those responsible who deliberately kill the unborn child?
Don’t Do It!
If you’re thinking of having an abortion, don’t do it. Abortion is never the answer no matter what the situation. Jesus Christ is always the answer. Firstly, you need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ and be born again. Then commit your life and future into God’s hand, and he will work things out no matter the situation.
The Good News
If you have had an abortion or supported it, yes you are a murderer, but the good news is that God can forgive you. You must repent and be born again and receive forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. God will forgive you and make you a new person. Many women experience extreme guilt and depression after an abortion and also are suicidal. In such a case if that woman surrenders her life to God, then He can bring forgiveness, deliverance, and healing into that life from the effects of abortion. Sometimes even a Christian has made a decision to have an abortion, and if so that person needs to go to God and confess that sin and get right with God. These aborted babies all go to heaven because they are an eternal soul from the moment of conception, and they are innocent before God. They do not know to commit sin and are not accountable before God in this regard. This means that if a woman commits the sin of abortion, and she is later sorry and repents and turns to the Lord, one day she will go to heaven and meet her child that she aborted.
